    Work Experience

    The benefits of taking part in work experience are many. It allows students to put their existing skills into practice and develop new ones. It can help build their confidence and bridge the gap between school and the world of work. By developing the skills employers want, students put themselves in a strong position when it comes to finding a job/apprenticeship or applying for a place at university upon completion of their studies.

    All students in sixth form take part in a one week work experience placement at the end of year 12 which they are responsible for organising themselves with the support of the sixth form team. Students are given guidance on how to search for a placement, make contact and workplace etiquette.
